I usually service my truck mainly because I'm to lazy to do it. Plus it gives me something to blog about since it's gonna be an hour til it's done. But I got blogger's block. =(

Got our grub on at Pho Kauai before we watch Haywire. Looking at everyone eat their popcorn makes me wanna spend $10 for popcorn and a soda when I spent almost $20 for two tickets. Going to the movies is ridiculous now days. Plus this theater doesn't give military tickets. =(

Have you ever watched the movie "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead"? My fiancé and I watched it a week ago on Netflix out of curiosity. After the movie my fiancé and I got a little inspired to try and so here we are...Day 1. Wish me luck. (using iPhone app)

While today was a very wet day, yesterday, on the other hand, was nice and warm. Surf was five to seven feet, perfect off shore winds, and enough surfers to share.

My 8:00am alarm goes off and I struggle to roll out of bed. I hear the rain banging on the roof telling me to get ready for work. I tell myself just five more minutes...

9:00am comes in a blink of an eye, my fiance reminds me I work in half an hour. I teleport straight to the bathroom, throw on whatever clothes I could see, and sprint to my truck fast five my way to work.

As I drive to work I thought about being late to work again and what I'd say if I did show up late, again. I thought about how dark and low the clouds were and how bad the rain poured. Then I thought about hot cocoa with marshmallows in bed cuddling with my Skyrim, I mean fiance.

Today I picked up my prescription glasses from Costco and it's been an experience adjusting my eyeballs into prescribed glasses. Few weeks ago I noticed my visions been getting blurry and went to get my eyes checked. After doing a bunch of tests the doctor said I wouldn't need glasses to drive but would be helpful driving at night or watching something from a distance. The doctor also said that using glasses wouldn't screw my vision mor. Now before I wear my glasses more, was the doctor true or false, can prescription glasses ruin your vision? (hmm I can't add pics from my iPhone)

Yeah...kinda late on that but oh well. Its a new year and I hope everyones been having a great year so far. I started this year with a cold/fever/flu so I hope I won't be sick throughout the year. I plan on being more active this year since I recovered from my knee injury. I've been slowly getting back into surfing because I'd rather surf than workout at the gym. My fiance and I are gonna go hiking this coming Monday, hopefully we'll be doing more of that. Yesterday was my first canoe paddling practice and I could feel my whole body telling me not to go to work. Somehow I managed...mainly because I have zero paid leave. This year my goals are to blog a little more, get back into shape to paddle the Molokai Hoe again, and last but not least, start planning for the wedding.
