  • Update

So sorry to all my readers for keeping you waiting and not updating my blog.

    (cricket sound)

So anyways like I was saying, in exactly two months I will be tying the knot. Two months! No more partying til six in the morning, Mass Effect Marathons on the weekends, or reading Xanga blogs in the bathroom.
But for real, it has been a crazy ride so far with preparing for this wedding. Monday we are flying to Oahu to get out swog, I mean swag on because my fiance wants two outfits.

Also, just today I got the call that I’m pre-qualified for one of the houses that we were looking at. Super stoked about that. I can’t wait to get my cook out invitations. Hopefully everything goes through smoothly and we do get the house. I don’t want to push my luck.

  • Still raining

I got a call from my supervisor asking if I would volunteer to go active duty if this rain stays persistent. Bridges, roads, and houses got flooded. Hail dropped in certain areas, which we don’t see very often since we average 80-90 degrees. I didn’t believe the news when they reported a tornado on another island.

  • I need to remember to ask for soy milk when I order my mocha.

  • Do not come here

Around this time of the year is when the rain just doesn’t want to go away. It’s the perfect BMW! (Baby making weather) With flash flood warnings around the whole island it caused a lot of damage and closed a bunch of bridges. I feel bad for the tourists that come here and expect more.

  • Good Morning

5:30am “Look at Me Now” alarm goes off
    snooze
    5:45am alarm raps again
    snooze
6:05am fiance kicks me out of bed
    me: sh!t I’m late!
    fiance: sshhh!!!

Since I was already late I figured I’d take this awesome sunrise on my way to work to share my lovely morning. As I reach the parking lot I realized I forgot to grab my shoes.

  • The good, bad, and ugly of February

    /sigh

Another Monday… Work sucks! I’ve been working 12 on and 12 off the past couple weeks. Midnight to noon shift sucks. Work then sleep and no time for anything. I guess my paycheck will make up for it…kinda.

Every week I look forward to the weekends. The best weekends are holiday weekends because I get paid for that day. Thank you presidents for having your day fall on a Monday and giving my fiance and I a relaxing beach day on the other side of the island.

I need to remember to bring the GoPro chest or wrist strap. The waves were four to six feet and not to crowded.

This month so far has been a rollercoaster. My birthday was awesome as always (still waiting for my extra 2gigs ram birthday gift for my old school mac laptop). Got our deposit and date locked in for our reception. Valentines was perfect, (and cheap) pho for dinner and a movie The Vow. My fiance finally picked out our favors and center pieces. We went from Tiffany-looking boxes to the boxes shown above. And the center pieces we went fish tank and dropped some shells with a candle.

The worst of this month has got to be the anonymous driver who reversed into our driveway and banged my fiance’s car. Who bangs a parked car? February is not the best month for my fiance. Someone stole a pair of shoes from her store and left their old pair. And another day she caught someone trying to take a picture of her while she was ringing them up. I would of spinning roundhouse kick that fool. I, on the otherhand, lost my wallet couple weekends ago. Which I then found at work after calling my card companies that I lost my wallet. What a month.

  • What a Night

Last night my fiance surprised me with an amazing birthday dinner at Tidepools Restaurant at Grand Hyatt. Now I’m not the kind of guy that likes to be the center of attention but my fiance insist that I deserve to have atleast a small dinner. After looking at the prices of the entrees and appetizers, this birthday dinner was no way near a “small dinner”.

Our sunset view dinner started off with a refreshing Kekaha Koola. For appetizers we both shared the delicious kalua pork pupusas and my new favorite coconut shrimp and crab chowder. My fiance order the surf and turf while I ordered the prime rib. Saved the best for last for dessert we ordered what they call ‘Fat Elvis’.

Aside from my facebook page filled with birthday wishes, my phone notifying me every minute, text messages and phone calls from family, and my fiance surprising me with a dinner. I have to say I’m very grateful for everyone for making my birthday extra special.

I was bored looking at apps and came across this app called Hubba Hubba. And after a good 10 minutes I came out with this. If you get a chance, download this app and show me what you come out with. I triple dog dare you.
